Vinton, Virginia USA
Although I am currently working toward a Master of Arts in Teaching from Liberty University, I originally planned to pursue a career in journalism. I earned a bachelor’s degree in Communication Studies from Liberty University in 2012, and during that time I also worked as an Editorial Assistant at the Liberty University News Office. The experience allowed me to develop skills in writing, editing, and media relations on a professional level. As time went on, I began to realize I wanted to put those skills to use by becoming an educator. In addition to teaching at Dreyer Coaching and completing my graduate program, I am currently a substitute teacher in the public school system of Roanoke, Virginia. I enjoy working with students of all ages and skill levels. I am always looking for new ways to improve my teaching skills, and I look forward to a full-time teaching career in the future.

Personal
I love traveling, although Bosnia and Croatia are the only countries I have visited outside the U.S. (so far). I hope to travel abroad more in the future! In college, I spent a summer in Bosnia working with a humanitarian organization that helped the community by providing free English classes, activities for children, and other resources for families in need. It was an amazing experience that began my interest in learning more about other cultures.
I enjoy reading, board games, and spending time with my fiancé, friends, family, and two dogs.
