How it works: Email the paper to Scott and the DreyerCoaching team will edit it, using “suggestion” mode. We use “suggestion” mode for two reasons.

1. It clearly lets you see what we changed, so in case we misunderstand your meaning, you can alert us and not make that change. That way, we can keep communicating and revising until we get your exact desired meaning.

2.  The “suggestion” mode lets you see every change we make, which we believe will help you grow more as a writer instead of getting your paper back in final edited format. You go through your paper after getting it back and “accept” or “reject” each suggestion until you get the final product that expresses your intention clearly. 

Investment: For a ten-day window, US$0.05 (5 cents) per word or US$165/hour on first manuscript. For currencies other than USD, we simply apply the posted exchange rate for that day. For a rush job or job over a holiday, special rates apply. Ask for details.

 In 1993. the administration at the Bilingual Department of the National Experimental High School in the Hsinchu Science-based Industrial Park (NEHS–now IBSH) asked Scott to serve as college adviser for the grade 10-12 students, in addition to his other classroom teaching. As such, he helped the grade 10-12 students prepare for college in an English-speaking country and he was the seniors’ guidance counselor who helped his students with:

• making their college choice lists,
• organizing their schedule of standardized tests like SAT and TOEFL,
• writing their college application essays,
• keeping track of deadlines,
• collecting recommendation letters, many of which Scott wrote himself
