Thanksgiving is a day set aside for being thankful, but as someone said, “EVERY day should be Thanksgiving Day.” That is, we should take time to be grateful, daily.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

“Count your blessings”<\/strong> is a saying that reminds to be intentional and deliberate to remember the GOOD things in our lives<\/strong>. Instead of focusing on the negative, focus on the positive.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Here are some sentences that some of my online students wrote. When I count my blessings, I count my wonderful students, of past and present!<\/span><\/p>\n

Everyone should count their blessings and not complain. –Alice<\/p>\n

After the earthquake, Jack was very angry because the earthquake ruined the house. But Mom told him, “Count your blessings. At least we are all safe.” –Ryan<\/p>\n

Billy wanted to buy a tank, but he was worried that he could not pay off the credit card bill; his friend told him, “Count your blessings, you already have the tank you wanted, no need to worry about the police coming after you!” –Ricky<\/p>\n

“You need to count your blessings, Ellie. At least you’re still alive!” Ella comforted Ellie after she became crazy during the game which included some sharks. –Felicia<\/p>\n

Pippen was punched by his classmate and he cried, but his mom came and said, “Count your blessings” many people have a really sad life. –Ian<\/p>\n

I have three full meals each day, so I’m counting my blessings. –Hubert<\/p>\n

You may have a cough but at least you don’t have a fever. You should count your blessings.  –Joshua<\/p>\n

After knowing the terrible poverty going on in India, I count my blessings. –Rebecca<\/p>\n
